Falls: Falling is a major cause of injury and death on construction sites. Your employer is required by law to provide you with safety equipment. Make sure you get it and if you don’t call OSHA. If you are denied safety equipment and you get injured, contact an attorney.
Falling objects: Due to co-worker negligence or the lack of safety measures to prevent falling objects accidents happen. If you are injured due to negligence due to a co-worker or the negligence of your employer to provide netting etc to prevent falling objects, you have a legal right to compensation.
Fatigue: With all the construction going on in NYC these says, people can work long and hard and fatigue can set in and accidents can happen. Remember to take breaks and inform your foreman or boss that breaks are required by law.
